Im not sure though, but I think the bride was already a Muslim convert before they were married. Otherwise, there would have been no marriage ceremony as peaceful as I had seen…The respective families would certainly disapprove the marital union outright…

A muslim marring a non Muslim in Malaysia – the non Muslim would have to be converted to Muslim before the marriage.
